Santo Antão: Is an island of striking contrasts and dramatic natural beauty, where rugged mountains, deep valleys, and sweeping coastlines create an unforgettable landscape. Known for its warm hospitality and rich traditions, the island invites slow exploration, whether through scenic walks, encounters with local culture, or simply enjoying the peaceful rhythm of everyday life.

Ribeira Grande: A historic town with colorful colonial buildings, lively streets, and a strong cultural identity, offering insight into the traditional life of Santo Antão.

Vale do Paúl: A lush, green valley known for its sugarcane fields, banana plantations, and scenic hiking trails, often considered the most fertile and beautiful area of Cape Verde.

Ponta do Sol: A charming coastal village set against dramatic cliffs, featuring a small harbor, oceanfront walks, and a relaxed atmosphere ideal for enjoying local cuisine and sunset views.

Día 1: ARRIVAL SAO VICENTE

After landing at Cesária Évora International Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel.

Día 2: SAO VICENTE

Enjoy a relaxing morning at your hotel before taking the day to unwind, explore, and experience the charm of the amazing city of Mindelo. If you wish to discover more of its rich culture, we suggest exploring its highlights on a self‑guided walk. Start at Avenida 5 de Julho, formerly known as English Street, then continue toward the newly renovated Amílcar Cabral Square, the vibrant heart of downtown. Here you’ll find the Arts and Crafts Museum and the Mindelo Cultural Center, two important cultural landmarks. Stroll past the Eagle Monument, which commemorates the first North Atlantic crossing, before heading toward the African Liberators Municipal Market, the People’s Palace, and the former Military Headquarters (now the Jorge Barbosa School). You can also stop outside Cesária Évora’s house, home of the beloved “Barefoot Diva,” and visit Joana Pinto’s atelier, known for its traditional craftsmanship. Continue on to Madeiral and Baltazar Lopes Square, named after one of the founders of the Claridade literary movement, located near the City Hall and the Church of Nossa Senhora da Luz.

Día 3: SAO VICENTE – SANTO ANTAO (1hr by ferry; included)

Prepare for an early start today. After breakfast, meet your local transfer driver, who will take you to the harbor for your ferry journey to your next destination: the island of Santo Antão, where you will spend the next four nights. Upon arrival in Santo Antão, you’ll be welcomed by your driver and transferred to your hotel in the Ribeira Grande area. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at leisure.

Día 4: RIBEIRA GRANDE

Begin your day with a relaxed breakfast overlooking the sparkling Atlantic, allowing the gentle sea breeze to set the tone for a peaceful morning. Spend your free day exploring the scenic surroundings of Ribeira Grande, where dramatic coastal cliffs blend beautifully with quiet sandy coves. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shoreline, dip your toes in the turquoise waters, or unwind under the warm Cape Verdean sun while taking in the sweeping ocean views.

Día 5: RIBEIRA GRANDE – PONTA DO SOL (30km – 1hr)

After breakfast, meet your local driver for your transfer from the hotel to Ponta do Sol, where you can enjoy and explore another charming area of the island. Take your time to relax and discover the beauty of this delightful coastal town. Among the highlights we recommend visiting: Ponta do Sol Beach, where you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this scenic beach, perfect for unwinding, soaking up the views, and enjoying a laid‑back afternoon. While the waters here are generally calmer than in other parts of Cabo Verde, it remains an ideal spot to relax by the ocean. Be sure not to miss the Miradouro da Cova, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the surrounding valleys and dramatic mountain landscapes. It’s an excellent location for photos and for appreciating the island’s remarkable natural scenery.

Día 6: PONTA DO SOL – PAUL (15km – 30min)

After breakfast, meet your local driver for your transfer from the hotel to Paul, where you can enjoy a relaxed day discovering another beautiful part of the island. Spend your free time exploring the lush green landscapes of Paul Valley, wandering through the charming colonial streets of Pombas, or visiting the tranquil Ribeira do Paul area. For breathtaking scenery, head toward Tarrafal de Monte Trigo, known for its impressive coastal views. Don’t miss the chance to browse local markets and sample traditional Cabo Verdean cuisine for an authentic experience.

Día 7: PAUL – SAO VICENTE (50km – 2hr, 1hr by ferry; included)

After breakfast, meet your local driver for your transfer from the hotel to the harbor, as today you will return to São Vicente. Enjoy a relaxing ferry journey between the islands. Upon arrival in São Vicente, you’ll be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to enjoy at leisure. Spend the afternoon exploring the city at your own pace. Wander through its vibrant streets, relax in a seaside café, or simply unwind and take in the island’s unique atmosphere.

Día 8: SAO VICENTE DEPARTURE

Enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel and at the scheduled time depart to Cesária Évora International Airport.
