Safranbolu Turkey

Safranbolu is a town in the Black Sea region of northern Turkey, it links the trade route between Europe and the Orient where the Ottoman culture is still clear through the old Çarşı district and red-roofed Ottoman houses on cobblestone streets. Don't miss the caravansary of Cinci Han with great rooftop views over the town. When finishing, you can relax in the 17th-century bathhouse of Tarihi Cinci Hamam. The Old Town preserves many historical buildings, including a private museum, mosques, tombs, historical fountains, Turkish baths, caravanserais, a historical clock tower, a sundial, and hundreds of houses and mansions. Additionally, there are mounds of ancient settlements, rock tombs, and historical bridges. The Old Town is in a deep ravine, located in a fairly dry area in the rain shadow of the mountains, while the New Town is located on the plateau about two kilometers west of the Old Town.
