Arrival in Beijing, capital of the People's Republic of China. Transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 02 BEIJING (FORBIDDEN CITY + SUMMER PALACE)

Buffet breakfast. Today we will visit: the Imperial Palace, known as the “Forbidden City,” Tiananmen Square, one of the largest squares in the world, and the Summer Palace, which served as a summer retreat for the imperial family of the Qing Dynasty. Lunch included.

Optional: Evening acrobatic show (additional cost). Overnight stay.

DAY 03 BEIJING (GREAT WALL + OLYMPIC PARK)

Buffet breakfast. Excursion to the Great Wall (Juyongguan Pass or Badaling Pass, depending on the specific operator's itinerary), a spectacular and magnificent architectural feat spanning over 2,000 years. In the afternoon, return to the city and make a stop near the "Bird's Nest" (National Stadium) and the "Water Cube" (National Aquatics Center) for photos (without entering the stadiums). We will conclude with a welcome dinner featuring the delicious Peking Duck. Overnight stay.

Buffet breakfast. Visit to the Temple of Heaven, built in 1420 and covering 267 hectares, where emperors prayed for good harvests. Lunch included. In the afternoon, transfer to the train station to take the HIGH-SPEED TRAIN in Tourist Class to Xi'an (OPTION: Transfer to the airport to take the FLIGHT ON THE SAME ROUTE BJS-XIA with a supplement). Xi'an, the ancient capital of China with 3,000 years of history, is the only walled capital and the starting point of the famous Silk Road. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Buffet breakfast. Today we will visit the famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, home to over 6,000 life-size figures representing a vast army of warriors, horses, and chariots guarding the tomb of Emperor Qin. Lunch included. In the afternoon, we will visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda (without climbing it), located within Jianfu Temple, approximately one kilometer south of Xi'an's city center, and conclude with a visit to the Muslim Quarter (without entering the Great Mosque). Overnight stay.

Buffet breakfast. Departure by plane to Shanghai, a port city directly under the Central Government with over 16 million inhabitants.   • If extra nights are booked at your own expense, the operator will consider that the corresponding arrival or departure transfer on the date specified in the regular program has been voluntarily forfeited, without any refund. Likewise, any transfer outside the scheduled date will also be at your own expense.
  • Triple rooms in China consist of a double or twin room with a rollaway bed, which is not as large as a standard room. Therefore, discomfort may be experienced in triple rooms; we suggest booking a double + single room in such cases.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTERING CHINA

  • Complete vaccination schedule
  • Yellow fever vaccine: the vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before travel.
  • People over 60 years of age must present a travel certificate.

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS

The suggested visits or tours, whose price is detailed in the program, will be offered by our local operator and can be purchased here or directly there. However, if the passenger decides to participate in any of these activities, they should not be booked with a different operator, as the schedules established for the itineraries may vary. The guide has full autonomy to modify the order of the scheduled visits for logistical, operational, or weather-related reasons, always respecting the contracted services.

PAYMENT TERMS

  • Initial deposit: $125.00 per passenger or the total cost of the airfare
  • 120 days before the start of the trip: 50% payment of the contracted program price
  • 90 days before the start of the trip: 80% payment of the contracted program price
  • 60 days before the start of the trip: 100% payment of the contracted program price
