DAY 1 MENDOZA – CITY TOUR

Reception at Mendoza airport and transfer to the hotel.

In the afternoon, we will enjoy a City Tour, designed for visitors to experience a modern city illustrated by its immense trees, irrigation ditches, and the notable cleanliness in each of its sites. The tour begins at the Foundational Area of Mendoza, the heart of the historic center of the Old City. We then head to the "New City" to visit the different squares and the civic center, where the Army of the Andes Flag is located, the ultimate symbol of the Liberation Campaign and the first independent flag in South America. We continue our tour towards the General San Martin Park, known as the lungs of the city, currently covering 307 cultivated hectares, 17 km of pathways, and 82 hectares of expansion. In the park, we will see various delicately crafted fountains of different sizes and shapes, framed by lush vegetation. We will finish our tour at the Cerro de la Gloria, home to the historic monument to the Army of the Andes that pays tribute to the successful liberation campaign.

The main sites to visit are the Foundational Area, Plaza Pedro del Castillo, the ruins of San Francisco, Plaza Independencia and surroundings, the Civic District, and General San Martin Park. Accommodation.
