DAY 01 NEW YORK – BOSTON
In the morning we depart for Boston, traveling through the state of Connecticut. Upon arrival in Boston, we begin our city tour: Copley Square, where Trinity Church, the Hancock Building, and the Boston Public Library are located, among others; Harvard University, the Back Bay neighborhood, and Quincy Market. At the end of the tour, we transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.
DAY 02 BOSTON – QUEBEC
American Breakfast. In the morning we depart toward the walled city of Quebec, accompanied by the beautiful scenery of the Appalachian Mountains as we travel through the states of New Hampshire and Vermont. Arrival in the mid-afternoon. Overnight stay.
DAY 03 QUEBEC – MONTREAL
American Breakfast. In the morning we will visit the historic city of Quebec, the oldest city in the country. Panoramic tour including Laval University, historic monuments, the Citadel, and other points of interest. After lunch (not included), we depart for the city of Montreal. Arrival. Overnight stay.
DAY 04 MONTREAL – OTTAWA
American Breakfast. Discover the best that the city of Montreal has to offer on this sightseeing tour with a professional guide. Enjoy a journey through time from French and English colonization to the present day. We begin our panoramic tour through the English neighborhood of Westmount, Saint Joseph’s Oratory, Mount Royal Park with its spectacular city views. We will walk through the park to the Chalet lookout, weather permitting; otherwise, we will visit the Belvedere lookout. We continue to the Golden Square Mile, McGill University, the financial district, Canada Square, and the Catholic Cathedral Mary Queen of the World. We proceed to Old Montreal, passing Victoria Square and skirting the perimeter of Old Montreal and the Old Port. We walk to Place d’Armes to visit Notre Dame Basilica (admission NOT included). We continue walking to City Hall, where Place Jacques Cartier is located, the touristic heart of Old Montreal, where there will be free time for lunch before continuing the journey to Ottawa. En route, we stop at Parc Omega, where you will have the opportunity to see Canadian wildlife up close. After Parc Omega, we continue to Ottawa. Overnight stay.
DAY 05 OTTAWA – TORONTO
American Breakfast. We begin our visit to Canada’s capital city, visiting Parliament (in summer we will see the Changing of the Guard), residential neighborhoods, the mansions of the Prime Minister and the Governor General, the residences of ambassadors, the Supreme Court, and other points of interest. After lunch (not included), departure to Brockville to enjoy a short cruise through the Thousand Islands of the St. Lawrence River. This region is where the popular Thousand Islands dressing was created and is also one of Eastern Canada’s most favored tourist destinations. The cruise, lasting approximately one hour, offers spectacular panoramic views of the area and provides information about the region’s history, legends, and people. Ships from around the world can also be seen navigating carefully through the narrow sections of the St. Lawrence River, the longest freshwater waterway in the world. We then continue by bus to Toronto. Arrival. Overnight stay.
DAY 06 TORONTO – NIAGARA FALLS
American Breakfast. In the morning we begin our city tour: City Hall, the Provincial Parliament, the University of Toronto, Yorkville—the bohemian neighborhood, the residential area of Forest Hill, and the area where the well-known CN Tower is located. We then continue to Niagara Falls, approximately one hour away. En route, we visit the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada’s first capital. We tour the Niagara wine-growing region and begin our visit to the area, stopping at the Floral Clock and the whirlpool over which the Spanish aerial cable car travels. Boat ride on the Hornblower (May to October) or Scenic Tunnels (October to May). Arrival. Overnight stay.
DAY 07 NIAGARA FALLS – NEW YORK
Continental Breakfast. In the morning, departure to New York, arriving in the late afternoon.
