DAY 01: LOS ANGELES / GRAND CANYON
Early in the morning departure to the Grand Canyon (South Rim), crossing the Mojave and Arizona deserts, with a stop in Seligman to see a rest stop on the legendary Route 66. Arrival in the late afternoon. Accommodation. During winter, from November to April, the stop is closed.
DAY 02: GRAND CANYON / LAS VEGAS
American breakfast. Early in the morning, for those who wish, we will visit the Grand Canyon (South Rim) to witness the sunrise, then return to the hotel for breakfast and continue the visit to the Grand Canyon (South Rim). The canyon is a true paradise for nature and photography lovers. You will visit the most popular panoramic viewpoint in the park. After the visit, we continue to Las Vegas. Along the way, we will pass through sections of the old Route 66 and near the Hoover Dam before arriving at our destination. Arrival in Las Vegas in the afternoon, the city of lights, fantasy, and the gambling capital. Accommodation.
DAY 03: LAS VEGAS
American breakfast. Morning and part of the afternoon free for personal activities. In the afternoon, around 5:30 PM, we will take a panoramic city tour. Depending on the time of year, we will depart in daylight and finish at night. We will visit the most historic hotel in Las Vegas, Caesars Palace, then stop at the famous “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, travel along the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, witnessing its many attractions, and continue to Fremont Street, located in the heart of Downtown, the historic area where Las Vegas was born. There, you will enjoy a spectacular light and sound show on a canopy over the street. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 04: LAS VEGAS / MAMMOTH LAKES OR OAKHURST
American breakfast. In the morning, we depart Las Vegas and the Nevada desert, re-entering California on our way to the city of Oakhurst through the well-known and extensive San Joaquin Valley. (In summer, the itinerary changes to Mammoth Lakes.) Arrival in the late afternoon. Accommodation.
DAY 05: MAMMOTH LAKES OR OAKHURST / YOSEMITE / SAN FRANCISCO
American breakfast. Early in the morning, we travel to Yosemite National Park, where we will have the opportunity to appreciate nature in its purest splendor. We then continue to San Francisco, crossing the San Joaquin Valley. Arrival and accommodation.
DAY 06: SAN FRANCISCO
American breakfast. In the morning, we begin the city tour, including the shopping and financial districts, with stops at the Civic Center, Twin Peaks, Golden Gate Park, the famous Golden Gate Bridge, and finishing at Fisherman’s Wharf. Those who wish to continue on their own may stay at Fisherman’s Wharf and add a cruise to Alcatraz or Sausalito. (To add Alcatraz, we recommend booking at least 30 days prior to your trip, as tickets sell out well in advance.) Free afternoon. Accommodation.
DAY 07: SAN FRANCISCO / MONTEREY / CARMEL / LOMPOC
American breakfast. In the morning, departure to Monterey, former Spanish capital of Alta California. After a stop, we continue along the coast, traveling the exclusive 17-Mile Drive, with its magnificent homes and golf courses, to reach the town of Carmel, where actor and film producer Clint Eastwood once served as mayor. Free time for lunch (not included), visiting art galleries, restaurants, and typical shops of this fishing area. We then continue south to our hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 08: LOMPOC / SANTA BARBARA / LOS ANGELES
Continental Deluxe breakfast. In the morning, departure to Los Angeles. Along the way, we will stop in Santa Barbara for exterior photos of the mission of the same name, known as the “Queen of the Missions,” then head to the coast, driving through its streets and Spanish colonial-style buildings. Brief stop by the beach and departure to Los Angeles, arriving after midday.
