Known as the "Paris of the Baltics," the city is a true architectural treasure, with styles ranging from Gothic to Renaissance, Baroque, and Art Nouveau. During our tour, we'll be guided past the most important tourist attractions, including Riga Castle – the current presidential residence – the impressive domed Lutheran Cathedral, the iconic St. Peter's Church, the elegant Swedish Gate, and the Art Nouveau facades designed by Eisenstein.

DAY 07 – THURSDAY – RIGA – RUNDALE PALACE – HILL OF CROSSES – VILNIUS

Breakfast. Morning departure by bus to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.

En route, we will visit the historic Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Dukes of Courland. Built in the first half of the 18th century by the renowned Italian architect Francesco Rastrelli, this palace suffered extensive damage during the conflicts that ravaged the country. Today, fully restored, it stands as a testament to Baroque opulence, with its ornate halls, lavish silks, exquisite stucco work, magnificent sculptures, and an impressive art collection. Its splendid French-style gardens complement this uniquely beautiful site.

After lunch on your own in the Siauliai area, we will continue to the mysterious Hill of Crosses, a pilgrimage site whose origins are uncertain. This iconic place, steeped in history and devotion, is a living testament to the faith and resilience of the Lithuanian people. Imagine a landscape dotted with thousands of crosses, crucifixes, and religious sculptures, each telling a story of devotion and hope. It is believed that the first crosses were erected after the 1831 Uprising as a symbol of resistance and spiritual renewal. Since then, pilgrims from all over the world have come to this sacred place to offer their prayers.

After the visit, we will continue our journey to our final destination: Vilnius. Overnight stay.
