Arrival in Bangkok and reception at the airport. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival. Check-in time at the hotel is from 2:00 p.m. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 2 BANGKOK

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the hotel and tour the main streets of Bangkok and its old town. We will begin with a visit to the Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit), which houses the 5.5-ton gold Buddha. We will continue with a visit to the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Po), which houses the largest reclining Buddha in Thailand. We will conclude with a visit to the Grand Palace, where the royal family resided since 1782, and the temple where the venerated Emerald Buddha image, known as Wat Phra Kaeo, is located. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 04 BANGKOK – TRAIN MARKET – FLOATING MARKET – KANCHANABURI

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by road. En route, we will stop to see the famous train market, next to the railway tracks. We will see how the market is dismantled in a matter of seconds to make way for the train, and shortly after, it is reassembled. We will continue to the floating market. Upon arrival, we will take a boat ride through its canals where we will enjoy wonderful typical Thai scenery. We will continue to the province of Kanchanaburi. Arrival and visit Wat Tham Sua temple, a fascinating blend of Buddhist and Hindu temple architecture. Lunch at a local restaurant. We will then take a small boat along the River Kwai, amidst spectacular jungle scenery, to reach our hotel on the banks of the river. Free time to relax, explore the surroundings, and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. Overnight stay.

DAY 05 KANCHANABURI – AYUTTHAYA.

Breakfast at the hotel. We will begin the day with a visit to Hellfire Pass, the deepest part where the railway was built. We will continue with a visit to Sai Yok Noi Waterfall and the iconic Bridge over the River Kwai. Lunch at a local restaurant. We will continue to Ayutthaya, the second capital of the Kingdom of Siam and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Chai Wattanaram Temple. Continue to the hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 06 AYUTTHAYA – ANG THONG – KHAMPHAENG PHET – SUKHOTHAI

Breakfast at the hotel. We will visit Wat Yai Chaimongkol and Wat Mahatat temples. We will continue to Angthong to visit the temple that houses the tallest Buddha image in the world (93 m high). Lunch. We will continue to Kamphaeng Phet, formerly an extension of the ancient capital, Sukhothai, also a World Heritage Site. Arrival and visit the temple ruins. We will continue to Sukhothai. Overnight stay.

DAY 07 SUKHOTHAI – LAMPANG – CHIANG RAI

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit the archaeological ruins of the first capital of the Kingdom of Siam. The Sukhothai Kingdom is considered the golden age of Thai civilization, and the religious art and architecture of the period are considered the most classic of Thai styles. The original capital was surrounded by three concentric fortifications and two moats spanned by four gates. Visit the historical park of this ancient capital and its most important temples. Our next stop will be a MUAY THAI school, Thailand's national sport. We will learn the basic techniques of this sport from the teacher and former boxing champion. Lunch. We will continue to Chiang Rai. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

DAY 08 CHIANG RAI – CHIANG MAI

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit the Rong Suea Ten Temple or Blue Temple. We will continue with a visit to the Golden Triangle, the area where three countries—Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand—meet, divided by the Mekong River and formerly an important opium trafficking center. Visit the Opium Museum. We will continue with a visit to the white temple Wat Rongkhung. We will continue to Chiang Mai, the Rose of the North and the most important city in the region. Its origins date back to the Lanna Kingdom in the 13th century. The old city is surrounded by a moat and is walled. Arrival and visit the handicraft street where we will see silk workshops, hand-painted umbrellas, and the gemstone factory. Overnight.

DAY 09 CHIANG MAI
DAY 09 CHIANG MAI

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to visit the ECO VALLEY elephant sanctuary. We will dedicate this day to learning more about these incredible animals, starting with a visit to the Elephant Cultural Museum. We will continue by preparing their food based on herbs and fruits, creating multivitamin balls, as well as bananas and sugarcane. We will learn how to produce paper made from elephant dung. Finally, we will enjoy bathing them under a waterfall. We will end the day with a visit to the enclave where they live, the giraffe women. We will walk through the village where we will see the small houses where they live. Lunch. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • To enter Thailand, an International Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate is required if returning from or originating from an endemic area within the last 10 days.
  • Passengers arriving within 10 days of departure or transiting through countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission who do not have a yellow fever vaccination certificate are subject to vaccination upon arrival. Fee: THB 700 (USD 25).
  • Passengers and crew members who hold a yellow fever vaccination certificate must register and complete the T8 health declaration form online at https://thaihealthpass.com/

IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Passengers must present a completed Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) within 3 days of arrival in Thailand and provide email acknowledgment upon arrival.
  • Passengers must demonstrate sufficient financial means upon arrival, at least 20,000 baht per person or 40,000 baht per family.
  • Passengers must submit a completed yellow fever health declaration form (T8) online before travel.

The guide has complete discretion to modify the order of the scheduled visits for logistical, operational, or weather reasons, always respecting the contracted services.
