Arrival in Bangkok and reception at the airport. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival. Check-in time at the hotel is from 2:00 p.m. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 02 BANGKOK

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the hotel, touring the main streets of Bangkok and its old town: We will start with a visit to the Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit), which houses a 5.5-tonne gold Buddha. We will continue with a visit to the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Po), where the largest reclining Buddha image in Thailand is located. We will finish with a visit to the Grand Palace, where the kings resided since 1782, and the temple where the revered image of the Emerald Buddha is located, known as Wat Phra Kaeo. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 04 BANGKOK – CHIANG RAI

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure on a scheduled flight to Chiang Rai. (Flight not included) Arrival and visit to the famous Golden Triangle, where the three countries of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet. Boat trip on the Mekong River, entering the waters of Myanmar and Laos. Visit to the Opium Museum. Lunch. We will continue on to the ‘Black House’, a place unlike any other, designed by a well-known architect in Thailand, and visit Wat Rong Sueaten, or the Blue Temple. Accommodation.

DAY 05 CHIANG RAI – CHIANG MAI

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by road to Chiang Mai, the Rose of the North and the most important city in the region. Its origins date back to the Lanna Kingdom in the 13th century. The old city is surrounded by a moat and is walled. En route, stop to visit the iconic white temple Wat Rongkhun. Continue to Chiang Mai. Visit Doi Suthep Temple, the symbol of the city at an altitude of 1,053 metres and an important pilgrimage centre. Lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Chiang Mai craft centre, where jewellery and precious stones, silk, umbrellas, wood carvings and teak furniture are manufactured. Accommodation.

DAY 06 CHIANG MAI

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for the elephant camp. Free time to walk around and discover every corner of this camp. We will continue with the elephants' bath, watching them play in the water and being brushed by their keepers. Next, you will enjoy an unforgettable show, where the skills of these incredible animals are put into practice. Then, take a ride through the jungle on the back of an elephant, surrounded by enchanting jungle scenery. We will visit the village where the giraffe women live. We will continue with a visit to an orchid farm. Lunch. Return to the hotel and free time. Accommodation.

** Notes: For triple occupancy reservations, it is important to note that the third bed is a sofa bed or a rollaway bed. Either of these could be uncomfortable for an adult and would also limit the space in the room.

MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENT:

Shangri La Chiang Mai:

  • On 1 January 2026 and from 24–31 December 2026, a minimum stay of 2 nights is required.
  • Not available on these dates: 31 January–4 February 2026 and 10–12 September 2026

I ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • To enter Thailand, you must have an International Certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever if you are returning from or travelling to an endemic area within the last 10 days.
  • Passengers arriving within 10 days of departure or in transit from countries with a risk of yellow fever transmission who do not have a yellow fever vaccination certificate are subject to vaccination upon arrival. Fee: THB 700 (USD 25).
  • Passengers and crew members who have a yellow fever vaccination certificate must register and complete the T8 health declaration form online at https://thaihealthpass.com/

I IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Passengers must submit a completed Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) within 3 days prior to arrival in Thailand and present the email confirmation upon arrival.
  • Passengers must demonstrate that they have sufficient financial means upon arrival, at least 20,000 baht per person or 40,000 baht per family.
  • Passengers must submit an online health declaration form (T.8) for yellow fever completed before travelling.

I OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS

The suggested visits or tours, the cost of which is described in the programme, will be offered by our operator at the destination and can be purchased here or directly there. However, if passengers decide to take part in any of these activities, they should not be booked with a different operator, as the schedules established in the tours may vary. The guide has complete autonomy to modify the order of the scheduled visits for logistical, operational or weather reasons, always respecting the contracted services.

We will not be responsible for services contracted with other companies.
