DAY 1 • PANAMA - ISTANBUL
Departure from Panama on an international flight to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines 801. It is recommended to arrive at the airport counter at least 3 hours in advance to check in luggage. Overnight on board.
DAY 2 • ISTANBUL
Welcome to Turkey. Arrival by international flight at Istanbul Airport (IST). Opened in April 2019, today it is the largest in Europe, and one of the largest in the world. After disembarking, passing through immigration and baggage claim, you will go to our meeting point (check voucher), where our team will welcome you. After this, meet with our drivers for transfer to the hotel. Arrival and accommodation. Free time to rest.
DAY 3 • ISTANBUL - BANGKOK
Free morning, you can visit the Blue Mosque with its more than 20,000 handmade ceramic tiles brought from Izniko at the appropriate time or the Grand Bazaar, one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world and where haggling is a tradition. In the afternoon, at the scheduled time, transfer to Istanbul airport to take the Turkish Airlines flight 64 to Bangkok. Night on board.
DAY 4 • BANGKOK
Arrival in Bangkok. After disembarking, passing through immigration and baggage claim, you will head to our meeting point (check voucher), where our team will greet you. Following this, meet our drivers for transfer to the hotel. Free day to explore Bangkok at your own pace. Accommodation.
DAY 5 • BANGKOK
At the appointed time, departure for the city tour. During the tour, we will see the statue of the Seated Buddha and the stupas, as well as Chinatown, the Flower Market, the Street of Monuments and Democracy, the Street of the Ministries, the Parliament building and the current mansion of the King of Thailand in Bangkok. At the end of the tour, transfer to the hotel and free time. In the evening, at the scheduled time, we will leave for the “Yor Yor Seafood Restaurant & Patpong Night Market”. Dinner will be prepared at the restaurant, where we will be able to see Bangkok under the lights, next to the famous Chao Phraya River, known as the “River of Kings”. After our pleasant dinner (drinks not included), we will move to the Patpong Night Market, the most famous night market in Bangkok, where you can buy both Chinese and Thai style, with imitation products predominating (Rolex watches, Versace bags, etc.). You will have a great time on this famous street of shops and bars. Don't forget to haggle a lot. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 6 • BANGKOK - KANCHANABURI
Day Off. Optional Excursion: "Floating Market and Bridge over the River Kwai." On this tour, we depart from Bangkok and stop at a coconut farm in Samut Songkram, where the world-famous Siamese twins were born. Here, we learn about how the Thai people utilize the coconut tree, see souvenirs made from it, and have the chance to visit the orchid garden on the premises. From there, we take a 10-minute bus ride to the pier where traditional Thai boats set off. After a pleasant half-hour cruise through beautiful exotic scenery, we arrive at the famous floating market, featured in magazines and documentaries. We’ll see the market set up on canoes along the river and have the opportunity to do some shopping. In the afternoon, we transfer to Kanchanaburi to visit the Bridge over the River Kwai, famous from movies. The bridge was part of the Thailand-Burma Railway built by invading Japanese forces. Over 100,000 people died due to diseases and torture during its construction, which involved Allied POWs and local inhabitants. This railway is known today as the Death Railway. Afterward, we’ll transfer to the hotel for accommodation.
DAY 7 • KANCHANABURI - BANGKOK - CHIANG RAI
At the scheduled time, departure to Bangkok airport to board the flight to Chiang Rai. After completing the passport formalities, you will take the flight to this city, located in the north of Thailand. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel and accommodation.
DAY 8 • CHIANG RAI
At the scheduled time, we will begin our exploration of the Golden Triangle. First, we will visit the Hashish Museum, where we will delve into the history of this region, known for being a major center of illegal hashish production over the centuries. Then, we will head to the border of the Golden Triangle. From an elevated viewing point, we will enjoy spectacular views of the confluence of the Mekong and Ruak rivers. Afterwards, we will board a boat to cruise along the Mekong River, crossing the borders of Myanmar and Laos. We will continue to the village of Mae Sai, the northernmost point of Thailand, where we will visit the border market and have free time for shopping. To conclude the day, we will explore the famous tea fields of Chiang Rai before returning to the accommodation.
DAY 9 • CHIANG RAI - CHIANG MAI
At the scheduled time, we will depart for Chiang Mai, with a first stop at the famous Karen village, known for the rings that adorn the necks of its women and recognized by UNESCO. In addition, we will have the opportunity to meet the Akha, Lahu and Yao ethnic groups. Then, you will visit the impressive Wat Rong Khun, the White Temple, located 13 km south of Chiang Rai. This temple, which began its construction in 1996 by local artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, stands out for its unique all-white design, with interiors that reflect a unique artistic vision. It is estimated that the work will be completed 60 years after the death of the artist, who invested approximately 40 million baths in its creation. After exploring the White Temple, we head to the Blue Temple, known as Rong Suea Ten, which means "dancing tiger." This temple was built in 2005 on the ruins of an ancient temple that had been forgotten for more than a century. Inside, we will find an impressive 6.5-meter-high white Buddha statue, surrounded by a vibrant indigo blue design. At the end of our tour, we will continue towards the city of Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, we will stay accommodation and enjoy free time to rest and relax.
DAY 10 • CHIANG MAI
Free day. Possibility of taking an optional excursion "Mae Taeng Elephant Camp". Located north of the city, this camp was founded by the Chailert family after the 1989 ban on timber transport and elephant exploitation in Thailand. Many of these elephants were abandoned or forced to work in deplorable conditions in illegal logging. The camp was established to protect elephants and offer them a natural environment where they can live freely. Upon arrival, we will enjoy an exciting elephant show, followed by an unforgettable ride of approximately 45 minutes in their habitat. After this experience, we will return to the camp by ox cart and enjoy a delicious lunch. Then, we will embark on a quiet bamboo rafting adventure. Our next stop will be a beautiful orchid and butterfly garden, where we will have free time to take photos and appreciate the beauty of the place. At the end of our visit to the garden, we will head to the majestic "Doi Suthep Temple". Situated on Thailand's eighth highest peak, this temple offers stunning panoramic views of Chiang Mai. As the Thais say, if you haven't seen the city from Doi Suthep, you haven't really been to Chiang Mai. This place was declared a National Park in 1981 and is home to stunning nature across its 260 square kilometres. With a history dating back to the Lanna Kingdom in 1380, the 24-metre-high, gold-leaf-covered Doi Suthep temple invites us to explore its mysterious world. Finally, we will return to the hotel for a rest.
DAY 11 • CHIANG MAI - PHUKET
At the indicated time, depart for Chiang Mai Airport to take a flight to Phuket, located in southern Thailand. Arrival, reception at the airport, and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
DAY 12 • PHUKET
Free day. Possibility of taking an optional excursion "Full day on Phi Phi Island". Quick arrival at Phi Phi Don, the first of the two stunning coral islands near Phuket, aboard our speedboats. You will have the opportunity to relax and swim at the famous Bamboo Island, famous for its white sandy beach, surrounded by palm trees and with crystal clear turquoise waters. Our next stop will be the world-famous Phi Phi Ley Lagoon, where you can marvel at its natural beauty. We will also explore the Viking Cave and visit Monkey Island. Enjoy a delicious lunch on Phi Phi Don, followed by free time to swim and snorkel, discovering the colorful marine life. As night falls, we will return to your hotel by our speedboats. Accommodation.
DAY 13 • PHUKET - BANGKOK - ISTANBUL
At the scheduled time, transfer to Phuket airport to take a flight to Bangkok, where you will connect with Turkish Airlines flight 69 to Istanbul. Overnight on board.
DAY 14 • ISTANBUL – PANAMA
Arrival at Istanbul airport. Then connection with Turkish Airlines flight 800 to Panama City.
