Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, panoramic city tour. This is the perfect introduction to “Wonderful Copenhagen.” Starting from City Hall Square, where the famous pedestrian street “Stroget” begins, then Tivoli Gardens, the New Carlsberg Glyptotek, and the National Museum. Continue to the Old Stock Exchange and the Naval Church, King’s New Square, home to the Danish Royal Theater with its world-renowned ballet, the old canal area “Nyhavn,” the impressive Gefion Fountain, and the Royal Residence “Amalienborg Palace,” ending with the Little Mermaid statue. During the tour, you will also see Christiansborg Palace and Rosenborg Castle, where the Danish Crown Jewels are kept. In the afternoon, private transfer to the port to board the overnight ferry to Oslo.

Rosenborg Palace is a fairytale Renaissance palace in the center of Copenhagen, surrounded by charming gardens. It houses a beautiful collection of Danish Crown Jewels. Built by King Christian IV in 1606 as a summer residence, it is one of the most impressive examples of his architectural projects. The museum is divided into two parts: the palace interiors and the cellars where the crown jewels are exhibited. Your visit to Copenhagen will not be complete without seeing this gem of Renaissance architecture!

Located in the heart of Copenhagen, Tivoli Park is one of the city’s top attractions. This amusement park, opened in 1843, features roller coasters, trains, carousels, and water rides, among other attractions. It also hosts various cultural shows in its concert hall, pantomime theater, conference palace, and exhibition venues. The park boasts beautiful green spaces with well-maintained gardens and over thirty restaurants and food stalls offering a great variety of cuisine. The tour includes round-trip transportation, entrance, and a guided tour of the park. Return to the hotel on your own.

Add a bit of mystery to your trip by visiting Denmark’s most legendary castle. Kronborg Castle, the home of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, now houses Holger Danske, who remains in his deep sleep in the casemates. While he sleeps, you can enjoy the surroundings of this Renaissance castle, one of the finest in Northern Europe, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. The castle also played host to one of literature’s most famous princes: Shakespeare’s Danish Prince Hamlet. Shakespeare never visited Kronborg, but he must have heard the rumors of the castle’s wild life from the many actors performing there at the time. In the afternoon, private transfer to the port to board the overnight ferry to Oslo. Departure around 15:00. Dinner & overnight on board.

DAY 04 (SUNDAY) OSLO - EIDFJORD

Breakfast on board. Arrival in Oslo at 11:00, the Norwegian capital. We will start our journey in a private coach, traveling through Honefoss and Nesbyen, enjoying landscapes alternating between pine forests and lakes. We will reach the beautiful Hallingdal valley and pass through Gol and Geilo, a small village surrounded by mountains. After a brief lunch stop, we continue to Hardangervidda to visit the Voringfossen waterfall, then travel to Eidfjord, where our hotel is located.

DAY 05 (MONDAY) EIDFJORD - BERGEN

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we cross the splendid Hardanger Fjord via the Hardanger Bridge, one of the longest suspension bridges in the world. We continue along the fjord, passing Norheimsund and birch forests, until we reach Bergen, known as the fjord capital. Upon arrival, enjoy a small fish tasting at the traditional fish market. Following this, a panoramic tour with the Tour Leader includes views of the exterior of St. Mary’s Church, Haakon’s Hall, the colorful and picturesque fish market, and the old Bryggen area. We will also visit the Fantoft Stave Church (entrance included). After the afternoon tour, enjoy the evening at your leisure. Bergen offers a lot in terms of culture, cuisine, and beautiful views, so you will surely find something enjoyable to do in the evening.

DAY 06 (TUESDAY) BERGEN – HEMSEDAL

After breakfast, continue through the Naeroy Valley to Gudvangen. Ferry crossing of the Naeroy Fjord, one of the narrowest and most beautiful fjords in the world. Arrival in Flam and free time.

DAY 07 (WEDNESDAY) HEMSEDAL - OSLO

After breakfast, the journey from Hemsedal to Oslo offers stunning views through Norway’s dramatic natural landscapes. As you travel, enjoy picturesque views and diverse scenery along the way. You may glimpse Norway’s famous fjords, with tranquil waters reflecting surrounding mountains. Early afternoon arrival in Oslo and check-in at the hotel.

In the evening, enjoy a walking tour with the Tour Leader ending at the lively Aker Brygge area, a great spot for dining and people-watching.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy a panoramic city tour of Oslo, situated by the Oslo Fjord. Highlights include the Opera House and its spectacular outdoor terrace, Vigeland Park with Gustav Vigeland’s sculptures, the Royal Palace, and Karl Johan Street. The tour ends at your hotel, from where you can continue exploring the city.

Take the opportunity to visit these two fantastic museums. The Kon-Tiki Museum and Fram Museum are located in Oslo and both focus on maritime history and exploration. The Kon-Tiki Museum is dedicated to the famous Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl and his expeditions. It houses the Kon-Tiki raft used in his 1947 expedition across the Pacific Ocean. The Fram Museum is dedicated to the polar exploration ship Fram, used by Norwegian explorers Fridtjof Nansen, Otto Sverdrup, and Roald Amundsen in their Arctic and Antarctic expeditions. Both museums provide unique insights into the world of exploration and are must-visit attractions for history enthusiasts and anyone interested in maritime adventures.

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Oslo and head to Stockholm, passing through Norwegian and Swedish forests via the Varmland region, home to many legends. Lunch will be served in Karlstad, by Lake Vänern. Arrival in Stockholm late afternoon and check-in. Join your Tour Director for a walking tour of the Swedish capital. Evening at leisure.

fter breakfast, begin a 3-hour panoramic tour of Stockholm. Built on 14 islands connected by 57 bridges, Stockholm is also known as “The Beauty on the Water.” Visit the exterior of Stockholm City Hall, where the Nobel Prize banquet is held each December. Enjoy the medieval ambiance of the Old Town “Gamla Stan” with its Cathedral and Stortorget, site of the “Stockholm Bloodbath.” The tour also includes Fjallgatan for picturesque views of Stockholm. The rest of the day is free.

Visit Scandinavia’s most famous museum, built around an intact 17th-century warship. This optional tour follows the city tour. A guided visit to the magnificent Vasa Museum, which houses the Swedish warship Vasa, considered one of the world’s greatest and the pride of the powerful Swedish navy. The museum was built around the 17th-century warship, which sank during its maiden voyage in 1628. Discovered in 1956 and recovered in 1961, it represents a significant event in maritime archaeology. Carefully restored, the Vasa is a true testament to Swedish history.
