Nozomi Bullet Train (Nagoya to Shin-Osaka) / reserved economy class seating
Note: In the event that the Hida Express Train (Gero to Nagoya) does not operate due to heavy rain or other reasons, or if there are not enough seats on the train, we will use a bus as an alternative.
Day 4: Nozomi Shinkansen (Tokyo to Kyoto) / Reserved economy class seating. Initially, the transfer from Gero to Nagoya on Day 9 will be by bus or private vehicle. However, this transfer may be made on the Hida Express train, depending on road conditions, etc.
LUGGAGE TRANSFER:
Day 4: Suitcases will be transported separately by truck from your hotel in Tokyo to your hotel in Kyoto. Between the airports and hotels, suitcases will be transported in the trunk of the vehicle.
*In principle, only one suitcase per person is allowed (normal size / up to 23 kg). When there are more than 40 passengers on a departure, we charter a private truck to transport suitcases from the hotel in Tokyo to the hotel in Kyoto, and in this case, the suitcases arrive at the hotel in Kyoto in the afternoon of the same day. In the off-season, when there are not enough passengers, we do not charter a truck and use a regular delivery service. In this case, the suitcases arrive at the hotel in Kyoto the following day, so passengers need to carry a backpack or small suitcase with clothing and other essentials for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Suitcases will be transported separately by truck from the hotel in Kyoto to the hotel in Osaka. Passengers must prepare and carry a backpack with clothing and other essentials for an overnight stay in Kanazawa and an overnight stay in Gero.
*On transfers between airports and hotels, only one large suitcase (normal size / up to 23 kg) and one carry-on suitcase per person are allowed. The total weight of luggage (1 large suitcase + 1 carry-on bag) cannot exceed 30 kg. The total length of the luggage on all three sides (1 large suitcase + 1 carry-on bag) must not exceed 2 meters.
