DAY 01 ROVANIEMI (VILLAGE OF SANTA CLAUS)

Arrival at Rovaniemi Airport, the capital of the Finnish Lapland region, and transfer to the city.

Today we visit Santa Claus Village, located a few kilometres from the city centre. Here we physically cross the Arctic Circle, enjoy the beautiful traditional Christmas lights, visit Santa Claus' Post Office and have the unforgettable magical experience of meeting Santa himself. Accommodation in Rovaniemi.

In the evening, equipped with thermal clothing, we visit the famous Rovaniemi Ice Hotel. The hotel is made entirely of ice and snow, with no other building materials. The exquisite dinner by the open fire immerses us even more deeply in the typical sensations of northern life.

If we are lucky, we will also enjoy the natural spectacle of the Northern Lights – something that cannot be explained or described in words.

DAY 02 ROVANIEMI

This tour immerses us in the romance of the tales of ancient northern travellers, following old forest trails and crossing snow-covered plains in the same way that local people did hundreds of years ago – riding on sleds pulled by Husky dogs. After enjoying these unforgettable views, we can have hot tea accompanied by local biscuits in a kota (a type of traditional Lappish building).

The visit to the reindeer farm offers the unique experience of contact with these famous noble animals. For a while, we become Santa Claus's assistants and drive a sleigh just like his, pulled by reindeer. At the end, everyone will receive a Reindeer Driving Certificate.

Includes: return transfers, 5 km husky safari, 1.5 km reindeer sleigh ride, visit to a reindeer farm and salmon soup.

In the evening, Northern Lights by the Bonfire*** (return transfers, hot drinks and sausages by the bonfire). Return to the hotel. Accommodation in Rovaniemi.
