You will learn the story of how it was captured on the cloak of the indigenous Juan Diego and see the ancient basilica at the foot of Tepeyac Hill. Via a modern highway, we will go directly to the archaeological site of Teotihuacán, the city of the gods. 50 km away, we will admire the impressive pyramids of the sun and the moon; walk along the Avenue of the Dead; and visit an obsidian workshop for a demonstration of obsidian and maguey work. Overnight stay.

We will continue along the modern highway, which will take us in approximately one hour to the city of bougainvilleas, or eternal spring, due to its warm climate. We will visit the cathedral, which was built as a mission in 1552 and elevated to a cathedral in 1891 (representative of the viceroyalty era). We will continue our journey along winding roads through the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range, flanked by valleys and pine forests, and deep into the mountains of the state of Guerrero until we reach the picturesque colonial mining town of Taxco, known as the city of silver. We will visit the famous Church of Santa Prisca, said to have been built with silver from Taxco. We will have time to visit the silversmiths, walking through its plazas and cobblestone alleys framed by rustic and picturesque reddish-tiled houses that have inspired countless artists. Return to the hotel at approximately 8:00 p.m. Overnight stay.
