The Christ the Redeemer statue is one of Rio’s symbols and is located at the top of the Corcovado mountain. It can be reached by cable car or on foot. The statue offers a fantastic viewpoint to admire the city from above and is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. For those who prefer to spend the day at the beach, the famous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches are recommended. Here, you can swim in the sea or experience local activities like beach volleyball. The "Posto 9" area in Ipanema is particularly popular among young people and tourists. Finally, in this city where samba was born, you can listen to samba music, learn to dance samba, or visit local samba schools near the Sambadrome. You can sunbathe on the beach, swim in the sea, play beach volleyball, or buy tropical fruits and snacks from local vendors. Cristo Luz is one of the symbols of Camboriú. This giant statue, similar to the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, offers an excellent view of the city from above. Lit up with lights at night, the statue provides an ideal spot for photos.
