Arrival at the Bangkok airport where your Spanish-speaking guide awaits you and transfer to the hotel. Free time until check-in at the hotel according to availability (normally rooms are available after 3:00 p.m.). Accommodation.

After breakfast, visit three of the city's most unusual Buddhist temples. We will start with Wat Traimit, located at the edge of Chinatown, on Yaowarat Road, near the Hualampong train station. Wat Traimit is home to the largest solid gold Buddha in the world, measuring almost five meters tall and weighing five and a half tons. The tour will continue to Wat Pho, the largest temple in Bangkok. The temple of the huge reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings. This is located behind the Buddha Temple. It is one of the largest temples in the city and famous for its gigantic reclining Buddha that measures 46 meters long and is covered in gold. Accommodation.

After breakfast Depart from Bangkok towards the north. Ayutthaya – Temples, remains of ancient fortifications We will make the first stop in the city of Ayutthaya – former capital of the kingdom of Siam and archaeological center of the country – where we will visit its most iconic temples and remains of ancient fortifications. Declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1991, Ayutthaya remains a magical and unmissable place for lovers of history and ancient civilizations. Ang Thong – Watt Muang Next, we will head towards the city of Ang Thong where we can visit the Watt Muang temple, famous for housing the figure of the largest sitting Buddha in Thailand and the ninth largest in the world at almost 100 meters high. Road to Sukhothai – Lunch, natural landscapes During the journey we will witness the change in the landscape, which becomes increasingly greener and lush; already advancing the jungle landscapes that fill the north of the country. We will arrive at the accommodation in Sukhothai in the afternoon.

On the way to Chiang Rai, lunch Once this visit is over, we will head to Chiang Rai via Lampang, and enjoy the wonderful views of the road and Prayao Lake. Lunch on the way. Arrival at accommodation in Chiang Rai in the afternoon.

DAY 05 CHIANG RAI – CHIANG MAI.

Breakfast at the Chiang Rai hotel – Golden Triangle, opium museum, Blue Temple, White Temple Visit to the “Golden Triangle” of the Mekong River, which covers areas of Thailand, Laos and Burma formerly dedicated to opium trafficking. Once there, we will take the opportunity to visit the “Opium Museum” located in the town of Chiang Rai. From there, we will go to the new and striking Wat Rong Suea Ten or Blue Temple, where you can find paintings with a style similar to that of the White Temple since it was there where its architect trained for years. Stop at the spectacular and contemporary Wat Rong Khun, whose white color signifies purity and the crystal represents the wisdom of Buddha as the "light that shines in the world and the universe." Departure to Chiang Mai and lunch along the way. Arrival in the afternoon; accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we will climb the mountain to the well-known Wat Phra That Doi Suthep from where we will be able to appreciate a view of Chiang Mai in all its splendor. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon we will go to the elephant sanctuary to learn about these animals, and do various activities such as feeding and bathing them, an unforgettable experience. Departure by Tuk – Tuk (a type of motorcar, a very typical vehicle in Cambodia) to the South Gate, from where you can see its impressive statues representing the movement of the ocean, the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), the temple of Bayon with its 54 towers decorated with 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the terraces of the leper king and the elephants, and the royal chambers. Next, visit Ta Prohm Temple, one of the most spectacular temples in the area, which has remained relatively the same as when it was discovered and still retains much of its mystery. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer by bus to visit the most famous of all the temples, Angkor Wat – Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. This temple complex covers 81 hectares, comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. The well-known five towers are part of the Cambodian flag. They represent the 5 peaks of Meru, the walls surrounding them, the mountains and the valley surrounding them, the ocean. 

This 12th century work of art is considered among art historians to be the first example of classical Khmer architecture and art. Return to the hotel and accommodation.

Transfer to a town near Siem Reap, where we board a boat to visit Tonle Sap Lake (the largest lake in Southeast Asia) and which plays a very important role in the life of Cambodians. We will see the life of the people of the lake, their hospital, their church, the school, the market... etc. On the way back, we visited D'Angkor Artisans - the center helping Cambodian youth to maintain traditional crafts. Lunch in a restaurant. Transfer to Siem Reap airport to connect with the flight to Phuket. Arrival at Phuket airport and transfer to the hotel.
