DAY 05. ORANJESTAD
DAY 05. ORANJESTAD

From 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM

Welcome to Aruba, or as the locals say, Bon bini. Here, Dutch traditions blend with island charm. The capital and port city of Oranjestad is known for its colorful Dutch colonial "gingerbread" houses painted in vibrant Caribbean hues. While Aruba is only 32 kilometers long from end to end, it offers incredible contrasts. Take a cruise to Aruba and go from relaxing in a tropical paradise to hiking through rugged desert terrain in no time. The southern coast is a great photo opportunity; a bustling port city surrounded by white sandy beaches and crystal-clear aquamarine waters. To the north, waves crash against a rocky coast, dotted with cliffs, cacti, and divi-divi trees. Best of all, you don't have to choose where to go: just which place to visit first.

DAY 06. WILLEMSTAD

From 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Curacao is a treasure trove of cultural attractions, rich history, and natural landscapes—from desert scenery and rugged cliffs to 38 spectacular, mostly secluded beaches. Sint Anna Bay separates the two sides of the capital, Willemstad. Punda, the original settlement, is an orderly grid filled with shops and markets, unique outdoor restaurants, and cafes. Not to mention the famous Dutch tropicalized architecture in vibrant colors. Otrobanda (literally, "the other side") is a maze of narrow streets and even narrower alleys. And just 40 miles away, a wide variety of adventures await you on the island during your Curacao cruise.
